A new series of advertisements by Joop! features James Charm, a seduction expert, offering advice on how clueless men can go about picking up women. The advice is charming and funny, and though it won’t be especially useful to the lonely men in the world, the Joop! Homme fragrance just might.

My favorite of the 3 Seduction Lesson videos is below. Look for Mr. Charm’s pink watch (a classy touch), and take his advice with a grain of salt. I just tried what he suggested. I got slapped.

The reason why you should not be dancing in the street. First off, he just looks ridiculous, and second, he just ruined that ice cream van driver’s day. Who is going to give the kids their ice cream now? What a selfish jerk.

The reaction is hydrogen peroxide breaking down into one of its two components, oxygen. A mixture of water (the other product of hydrogen peroxide decomposing) and the liquid soap are responsible for the foam, and potassium iodide is used as a catalyst to make the decomposition occur faster. What you get is a large amount of oxygen trying to break out which causes the soap bubbles to quickly expand. Food coloring can also be used as a catalyst for the reaction. For those who don’t understand the technical jargon, just watch the video as it is awesome.

Watching things in slow motion is always fun, especially when it comes to human facial expressions. The guy in the film above gets hit with one punch and his entire face seems to get jumbled together, as if everything was made out of putty. Very tight!

This is absolutely, ridiculously tight. They turn a trombone into a huge flamethrower, able to spit flame over 21 feet. It’s good that you don’t need to be a good trombone player to make this work, as he can’t play at all. Still a very sweet piece of work, though.

This video shows a variety of crash tests of a recently developed road barrier for stopping vehicles from entering secure areas. The barrier deploys in less than two seconds, can stop a 15,000 lb vehicle going 50 mph, and can span up to 85 ft or 6 lanes. The net gives upon impact absorbing the energy and is immediately ready to be used again.

Quinonez Wilson, a Columbian Goalkeeper, kicks an amazing 85 yard free kick straight into the other team’s net. Watch as he cannons the ball over the opposing keeper, then rips his shirt off in celebration. Like a boss!
