The lamp above was created by artist Michael Marcovici, and is made of 800 35mm film slides glued together and filled with fifty LEDs. The colors and shapes on the wall behind it are created by the hundreds of projections of the different images. He also has designed different lamps using film slides, the wide circular one below was made entirely from the trailer for Apollo 13, and the taller cylinder was made from 1200 slides.
