The image above is of a real person who is covered in acrylics to look as though he is a painting. This was done by artist Alexa Meade, and she is able to create some very surreal pictures with this technique. Below are many more examples of her work, and although many look like they are not real people, I assure you that every face in the images is three dimensional and simply blended in to match the background.
