High-Speed Photgraphy
High-speed photography can refer to either a series of pictures taken in quick succession or a picture that appears to freeze the motion of an object that would otherwise be moving very quickly. The difficult part about the process is not only taking the picture at the exact right time, but also avoiding the blur that is associated with fast moving objects. To avoid the first problem photographers often use sensors to activate the camera at the perfect moment, and for the second it is important to have a camera with an incredibly fast shutter speed or a strobe light which only illuminates the object for a short period of time.
We have already taken a look at Motion-Blur Photography and Macro Photography, so to continue with the trend, here is a collection of incredible pictures taken with a high-speed camera.
