Receding Glacier Over Time

The pictures above are of the Muir Glacier in Alaska. The black and white one is from 1941 and the second one is from 2004. During this time period, the glacier receded over 7 miles and thinned by almost half a mile. It’s just scary that the earth can change that much in such a relatively short amount of time.

    It is also just a very cool, yet scary, picture of how the Earth has changed. Whatever you believe, this picture shows that the environment is changing. Deal with it however you want; there’s no way to ignore something like this.
