Motion-Blur Photography
A motion-blur effect can be obtained either with a camera using a long exposure time, or with photo-editing programs such as Photoshop. Motion-blurs add dimension to pictures by showing the movement of an object or even creating the illusion of movement. This technique works well when used to show the path of a light over time, or when attempting to convey the speed at which something is going. The difficult part of motion-blur photography is keeping the subject in focus while the rest of the scene becomes distorted. The gallery below contains 30 incredible motion-blur pictures compiled from: damncoolpictures, freephotoresources, and smashingmagazine.
