These strands are completely enclosed by root of the host * For most part, the parasite exhibits no activity whatsoever. Then, on an unknown trigger, the fibres break the root of the host and emerge with a cabbage-sized bud * The bud takes over 9 months to reach the flower (most do not become flowers) Thanks for the post.
