Entourage – Based on Mark Wahlberg’s life, Entourage follows the life of Vincent Chase and his entourage. Vinny Chase is an actor living in L.A., and the show focuses on his entourage’s moments of triumph and disappointment. Whether he’s at a high-profile party, riding around in a Maserati, or emptying his bank account, Vinny Chase and his friends make one very entertaining TV show. It’s a look into what goes on behind the scenes in the lives of Hollywood actors, and it’s also just an awesome show.

The Office – Funny man Steve Carell stars in this hysterical TV show about corporate America. As Michael Scott, director of the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, Carell makes you glad for your boss. Shot in a documentary style, the camera follows the various people in the office as they proceed about their ridiculous lives, from the scandal of inter-office relationships to corporate espionage, all with a comedic twist that will appeal to everyone. Enjoy this hilarious show.
 
Top Gear – Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May form the trio of overgrown children that run the most audacious and hysterical motoring program in the world. Top Gear has run through 12 seasons in its current format, becoming the most widely pirated TV show on the internet and forming a loyal base of diehard fans. The quality of the cinematography and the clever wit of the presenters means you don’t even have to like cars to watch Top Gear. For the STS crew it’s even better than crystal meth and bungee jumping, at the same time. 
 

House M.D. - While the number of rare cases that Dr. House gets is rather unrealistic, his peculiar personality makes this show highly entertaining.  House is, quite simply, a misanthropic ass, and his interactions with his co-workers and colleagues are what make this TV show great. The show is a masterpiece not only because of its medical aspects but also because many of the events that take place involve profound questions of morality.  House M.D. is a witty, intellectual show that is also very funny.  Watch it. 

24 - Probably the biggest badass to grace television, Jack Bauer has had a difficult life. His wife was killed, he himself was dead for a minute, and yet he continues to save the United States, even while the government wants to kill him, ignore him or prosecute him. The current season is amazing so far, which means you should watch the first episodes online and start watching the show for real next Monday.

30 Rock - Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan make this show so hilarious. Fey plays Liz Lemon, a socially inept geek with poor dress sense who writes an SNL-like TV show, while Morgan plays the self-obsessed and undeniably stupid Tracy Jordan. The show revolves around Liz’s life and relationships, especially with Jack Donaghy, played by Alec Baldwin. He’s a super-ambitious corporate climber who becomes Liz’s mentor. Trust us on this one — the show is totally hilarious.
