You don’t realize how huge the Phantom really is until you stand next to. It’s over five feet tall, and 18 and a half feet long. It’s a foot and a half longer than an Escalade. It’s huge! This only accentuates the experience associated with it, the gigantic Rolls awes and inspires. And somehow, while most convertibles seem like tacky consumerist ripoffs of reasonable products, the Drophead Coupe is an even better Rolls than the Phantom. It is the ultimate example of aristocratic wealth and control. If you ever have the chance to see one being driven check to see whether a chauffeur is in the front.
