3-D Head Halloween Costume
For Halloween 2009, artist Eric Testroete wanted to do something a bit different. After some thinking he decided to go with something so elegantly simple, creating a larger version of his head and wearing it as a mask. Using 3ds Max 2009, Mudbox 2010, Photoshop CS3, and Pepakura he created a 3-D model of his head and then split it up into 370 triangular pieces that could be folded and put together to make the final product. As you can see, it turned out quite well. Below are some pictures of the different steps in the process and of the final product.
